Park Farm has been accredited as organic since 1999 with accreditation for dairy production starting in 2001. The herd dates back to 1940 when Mark's grandfather started purchasing pedigree Friesians

The whole herd carries the pedigree name 'Bunniford' after the name of the crossroads where his grandfather had his original farm

5 of the original cows' families make up most of the herd today - Lily, Blanche, Kingfisher, Shade, and Dot. All new calves carry their mother’s name + number e.g. Lilly 1000 is the 1,000th calf born from the Lilly line

Holstein Friesian herd pedigrees can be traced back to 1909, Mark has been doing research on pedigree herds through the Holstein Society and has traced the Lily family pedigree back to1912
